It was modern, compact and with a view.

It was spotless, had a comfortable bed. The location was incredible and prime for what we needed.

The hotel provided fair prices. Thoroughly enjoyed this small property: REASONABLY PRICED food and polite and enthusiastic staff. Complimentary Wi-Fi, 2 large windows and coffee-making facilities in my king room were useful during the stay for a night. Remote location was a plus.

The place is pleasant and fairly clean, everything is lovely, it should have higher than 3 star rating. The hotel offers lots of food that was savoury. The property provides an excellent service. Moreover, there is a parking on-site. The location is stunning, the staff is attentive.

The hotel with reasonably sized and functional rooms, in a really quiet area, with ferries to Orkney. The location was good, staff was consistently courteous.

The staff were super friendly. My previous visit to john o' groats was nice, but this time the cute atmosphere and delicious breakfast really stood out.

The staff was friendly and interactive especially the lady behind the bar like she made us feel right at home plus the breakfast was really good with tasty juices it set us up for the day the views from our room were fantastic overlooking the coast and just amazing really makes it special when you can see the ocean from your bed

The glamping experience was lovely, with fine views of the Orkney Islands right from my pod. The power shower in my double room was a game changer, refreshing and invigorating after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was the highlight, with fresh, local produce, made each bite a delight!

I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, sunlit room that offered easy access and comfort. The attentive staff were amazing, always ready with recommendations or assistance.

Improved check-in process would enhance the experience.

We explored the fine Dunnet Forest and took in the views on our walk to Wick. The room was cozy, and the food was spot on. Breakfast had a unique twist with spiced haggis, and the bar served great drinks. Highly recommend it for a group getaway!

The room in the annexe felt cramped, with a view only of a drainpipe and wall, so it wasn't the most inspiring setting. Breakfast service was a bit disorganized, with long waits to place an order, and some food options felt lacking, especially for those with specific dietary needs. The internet connection was annoyingly unreliable, kicking us off frequently and requiring re-entry of the passcode, annoying. While I appreciated the effort for fresh sandwiches was great.

The common areas were lovely and easily accessible. The fine views of the islands was good, especially as I enjoyed my evening tea while gazing at the sunset.

WiFi signal could be stronger for convenience.
